Abhinav Ahluwalia

KIWI’s founder and CEO, Abhinav Ahluwalia, a rural management graduate from the KIIT School of Rural Management, Bhubaneswar, was serving the Gujarat government as an agriculture consultant for tribal development when he first began to ruminate on a foray into agribusiness.

He also worked with some 30 odd development organisations including Azim Premji Foundation Access development services, Jaipur Rugs Foundations, and many others. He wrote a coffee table book called View of India, which was published by Times of India in 2015. He was the first in Uttarakhand to start a community Rural Library in the village of Uttarakhand which was started in 2013. He is currently working as the CO-Founder of Evolve Foundation. Founder & Director of Evolving Planet Pvt. Ltd. And founder & CEO of KIWI Kisan Window Pvt. Ltd.

Pawan Kumar Gupta

Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) from IIT Delhi (1976). He attended a course on "Ecological Economics" at the Schumacher College, Devon, UK. Set up a medium-sized industrial unit - a Solvent Extraction Plant to extract oil from minor seeds in 1978 and managed it successfully in the capacity of Managing Director till 1987. Founded Society for Integrated Development of Himalayas (SIDH), a voluntary organization to work primarily in the field of education in the hill areas of Uttarakhand, in 1989.

Traditional Indian knowledge systems including spiritual knowledge and philosophy. Vippassana, Madhyastha Darshan, Mahatma Gandhi, Dharampal, studying the impact of modernity on human life in particular in the Indian context, major interests in finding out the fundamental belief systems of the West and India. Greatly inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, Dharampal and Madhyastha Darshan (as propounded by Sri A. Nagraj). Trying to explore oneself and dwelling on how to rejuvenate Indian society.

Priya & Amit

Oorja Farms, started by food enthusiast couple - Priya and Amit. Priya is MA in History from Punjab University and has been associated with kids and grownups for the last 12 years in various cities- Indore, Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Nagpur, and Pune, inculcating love for cooking and experimenting with food. Amit too is an avid cook and a food lover. He is an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad with over 18 years of corporate experience with organizations like Nerolac Paints, Idea Cellular, Tatasky, Motorola, LG, and Airtel.

Both sharing their passion for food, decided to start a completely new life with their own Farm - Oorja Farms. They cultivated Oyster Mushrooms in natural huts and soon realized that it needs to market differently. Now they cultivate, dehydrate mushrooms, infuse these into different products for daily consumption. Oyster Mushrooms are one of the richest sources for natural protein, vitamin D making it an immunity booster for all age groups, especially for Vegans. This fact drove this couple to ensure increasing the consumption and awareness of amazing Superfood - Oyster Mushrooms.
